Q: When and where are practices?

A: Practice times and locations are determined at the coach’s pre-season meeting by the coach of the team.  Practice times are generally between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  The practices are held on permitted fields supported by the Vernon Hills Park District.  To ensure your child gets a practice time and day of the week most accommodating to your schedule, we suggest you volunteer to coach.

Q: What if my child has a conflict and cannot make the practice date and time of his team?

A: Practice conflicts are resolved between coaches at a parent’s request.  As coaches are volunteers and have busy schedules during their workday, we ask the parents be patient and allow up to a week for resolution. For a conflict to be resolved, a player from each team must be exchanged.  If a two-player exchange cannot be worked out, a single player exchange may be approved by the Director at their discretion.  We do not guarantee conflicts will be resolved.  Again, the best way to ensure that you can make a practice time is to volunteer your time as a coach.  Practice conflicts are not a valid reason for refund.
